I love whiskey, straight or mixed, but for years I have developed a headache and nausea about 2 hours after finishing a whiskey cocktail(s). I’m usually enjoying these with dinner, so I’m not drinking on an empty stomach. My guess is they’re using a well whiskey to make my drinks. I don’t need a 100-year single malt scotch whiskey in my cocktails…is there something else I can request that won’t make me want to vom?
Edit: No, this doesn’t happen with any other spirit…it’s specific to whiskey.
