Larceny Barrel Proof Batch C924 Review #02

Still new to these reviews but here we go. This ones hot but with a lot of flavor (no surprise with the 125 proof). Ethanol comes through on the initial taste but after comes through with a nutty caramel flavor thats pretty pleasant and lingers for a while. This one definitely feels warm and full. The body of it is nutty and cinnamon almost dry but with a lingering sweetness.

I think this ones pleasant but drinks a bit harsh, but maybe thats me being new to these higher proof bottles. I will say compared to some of the other barrel proofs I have tried (OF, EC, MM, Smokeye hill, etc..) this one is harshest but has the one of the more complex flavor profiles.

On the t8ke scale: 7.5

I definitely will be refilling this one when its empty, but will probably shoot for a different batch. I think the flavor profile is nice but the harshness is a bit much for it to be a common drink.
