Knob Creek has announced the latest evolution of its Single Barrel Select Program with the introduction of Single Barrel Select Cask Strength. The new offering allows retailers to select exclusive barrels of uncut, unfiltered Knob Creek Bourbon and Rye Whiskey.
The cask strength expressions are bottled directly from the barrel without dilution, delivering robust and pure flavor profiles. Bourbon selections range from approximately 110-130 proof, whilst rye offerings fall between 100-120 proof.
“When my grandfather created Knob Creek, he set out to make a whiskey that stood out—bold, robust, and no shortcuts,” said Eighth Generation Master Distiller Freddie Noe. “With our Single Barrel Select Program, we pay tribute to that legacy by offering fans the chance to experience Knob Creek in its most authentic form—uncut and unfiltered, creating the most unadulterated single barrel selection in Knob Creek’s history.”
Knob Creek’s Single Barrel Select Program
The single barrel selection experience takes place at the James B. Beam Distilling Co. in Clermont, Kentucky. Participants will receive a behind-the-scenes distillery tour, including barrel selection inside the historic warehouse K.
The program also includes thieving whiskey from multiple barrels for comparative tasting before selecting their preferred cask. The experience concludes with a curated dining experience at The Kitchen Table restaurant. For retailers unable to visit Kentucky, Knob Creek offers remote selection through sample kits delivered to market.
Pricing and Availability
Knob Creek Single Barrel Select Cask Strength will be available at participating retailers nationwide with a suggested retail price of $69.99 (£55) for a 750ml bottle.
The James B. Beam Distilling Co. also offers its Private Barrel Club, which allows individual consumers to visit the distillery and personally select barrels for purchase. The programme represents Knob Creek’s commitment to honoring founder Booker Noe‘s vision for pre-Prohibition style bourbon.
Knob Creek, part of The Small Batch Bourbon Collection, has expanded its portfolio significantly since its 1992 launch. Recent additions include age-stated expressions such as Knob Creek 12 Year Old Bourbon and limited releases including 15 and 18 year old variants.
