I’ve been drinking bourbon for a few years now and I will be the first to admit that my palette is not the most refined to the point of picking up flavor notes. I can pick out heavy oak and sweet sugars and occasionally, sweet tobacco. What I really enjoy, more than the flavor profile, is a really nice and oily mouthfeel. Has anyone come across a flavor map which plainly charts out some of these attributes and general consensus is that it’s rather accurate? If so, please share!
