Hey all, As you can probably tell, I love the high ABV and intense flavor profiles of both Ardbeg Uigeadail and Stagg Jr. Recently, I made some fun (but expensive) life decisions—bought a new car—and now my whiskey budget is a bit thinner than usual.

That said, I’m wondering if anyone has found some good, more affordable alternatives that give a similar experience? I love the rich, meaty, sherry, peaty, smoky flavors of Ardbeg and the bold, woody kick from Stagg. Any recommendations for more budget-friendly (and more available in terms of the Stagg) bottles that offer a similar vibe?
