That Boutique-y Whisky Company has expanded its core range with three new world whiskeys

Independent bottler That Boutique-y Whisky Company has announced a significant expansion of its award-winning Core Range with three distinctive new world whiskeys. The new additions include expressions from Kentucky, England, and Ireland to cement the brand’s commitment to making exceptional whiskey accessible to enthusiasts across the globe.

English Rye, Kentucky Bourbon, and 21-Year Irish Whiskey Join Boutique-y’s Core Range

The three new releases continue Boutique-y’s mission of bottling characterful whiskeys that push boundaries while maintaining approachability. Each expression is bottled at 45.8% ABV in 700ml bottles, with all being natural in color and non-chill filtered.

The 8-Year-Old English Rye $59.74 (£44.95) showcases the rapidly evolving English whisky category with a high-rye mash bill aged in toasted French oak, complemented by English single malt matured in ex-Islay casks for a hint of peat. Flavor notes include cracked black pepper, cinnamon, rich caramel, and orchard fruits.

The 10-Year-Old Kentucky Bourbon $79.67 (£59.95) features a traditional 77% corn mash bill aged in deeply charred American oak barrels. This classic bourbon delivers layers of vanilla, dark toffee, and toasted pecans with warm spice notes and a velvety mouthfeel.

Completing the trio, the 21-Year-Old Irish Whiskey $132.83 (£99.95) represents a premium offering matured for over two decades in ex-bourbon and Oloroso sherry casks. This elegant expression combines honeyed malt, dried fruit, toasted oak, and baking spices in what the brand describes as “a symphony of flavor.”

Each bottle features illustrations by artist Emily Chappell in Boutique-y’s signature graphic novel-style, with the Kentucky Bourbon showcasing the North American Bison.

Award-Winning Independent Bottler Democratizing Premium Whiskey

Dave Worthington, Global Brand Ambassador for That Boutique-y Whisky Company, emphasized the brand’s commitment to making exceptional whiskey more accessible: “We’re not here to complicate whisky, we’re here to celebrate what makes it great. Whisky fans are more curious than ever, and there’s a real buzz around world whiskey right now.”

The new releases follow last year’s successful introduction of their Core Range. The new releases join the core range of four Scotch expressions and a Canadian Corn whisky—a collection that went on to win multiple gold medals and category titles at the World Whiskies Awards.

Each bottle features the brand’s signature graphic novel-style illustrations by artist Emily Chappell. The English Rye label depicts English Longhorn Cattle, the Kentucky Bourbon showcases the North American Bison, and the Irish Whiskey features the beloved Connemara Pony against a shamrock green background.

That Boutique-y Whisky Company, established in 2012, was named “Independent Bottler of the Year” and also received the “Blender of the Year” accolade at the 2023 Spirit Business Awards. The small-batch releases (approximately 1,000 bottles each) are available for purchase through Master of Malt and other select retailers including Amazon, House of Malt, The Whisky Exchange, and several specialty whisky shops.

For whiskey enthusiasts looking to explore beyond traditional boundaries, these new expressions represent what Worthington calls “whiskies that overdeliver on flavour, without overstretching your wallet,” reinforcing the brand’s belief that “whisky is for everyone, and everyone should have the chance to try something genuinely exceptional.”
