Hey everyone first post here. I just recently at 43yrs of age discovered my love for Whisky. After trying a few like Chivas sherry, Glenfiddich 12, Macallan 12 I finally after looking for ages bought my first bottle the A’bunadh batch 81. I’m almost through half of it and been drinking it neat, with the 61.6% it took a little for my tastebuds to adjust so was just adding a dash of water at first but now I no longer need that. To be honest I can’t get enough of the smell of it, I look forward to popping the cork off to get the aroma of it. I mean I really enjoyed the Macallan but not like this. I’m seriously thinking of buying another bottle of it! I went out and got something with a lower abv and got the Glenfiddich IPA (was recommended by a friend) I been enjoying the flavours of this one too. Anyway I’m too early in my whisky journey to be settled on a bottle yet so please give me some recommendations that you find similar to the A’bunadh. Cheers
